How can I book an apartment?

Please visit the reservations link and fill out the required information.

Someone will contact you within 72 hours to confirm availability.

 

How do I pay for the apartment?

We accept Visa and MasterCard, cash (colones, euros and US dollars) . Once a reservations agent contacts you to confirm your reservation, you will receive further payment instructions.

 

Is there a minimum time I have to stay for?

There is a 3 night minimum for stays with Casas del Toro.

 

What are the check in/check out times?

2 PM is our preferred check-in time, and 11 AM is our preferred check-out time. If you need to check-in or check-out outside this timeframe, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

Will we have a broadband Internet connection for our laptop?

Yes, all apartments at Casas del Toro Monteverde are equipped with wireless internet.

 

Can I bring my pets?

Unfortunately, for the comfort of all of our guests, animals are not permitted.

 

How far are we from the most important attractions (Monteverde Reserve or The Zip Lines)?

Being a small community, all attractions are easily accessible from Casas del Toro. We are located 10 minutes from town by car and 20 minutes walking. We are also situated between the Monteverde Reserve and the Canopy Zip lines and close to several restaurants and a supermarket.

 

Are all the apartments the same?

All apartments maintain the same modern conveniences and high quality appliances. However, each apartment is designed and decorated differently and accommodates different numbers of guests. Please review the description and pictures of each apartment to ensure you are selecting the apartment most appropriate for your needs.

 

Are there accessories in the kitchen?

All kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker and blender. All apartments with the exception of #3 also have a dishwasher.

 

Is there anywhere to leave my car?

Yes, there is free parking provided on the CPI campus and at Casas del Toro Anexo.

 

Who will keep the apartment clean?

The housekeeping staff clean all apartments daily, with the exception of holidays.

 

What happens if I cancel my booking?

If a guest requests a cancelation of their reservation 30 or more days before their indicated arrival date they will receive an 80% refund. However, the 20% deposit remains non-refundable.

Cancelations that are made 29 to 15 days prior to guest arrival will be eligible for a 50% refund.

Cancelations made 14 or fewer days prior to guest arrival will NOT be eligible for any refund.

Guests who do not show up on their indicated arrival date will be subject to the full charge of their reservation. Also keep in mind that leaving early or arriving late does not mean that you are eligible for a discounted stay at Casas del Toro Monteverde Cloud Forest.

 

Is there someone on your staff who can help with tourist activities in Monteverde?

Yes, we offer tours and transport throughout all of Costa Rica! CPI has secured discount rates with the safest and most well recognized tour operators in Monteverde and Costa Rica, these savings are passed onto you!
